Leave a line after each paragraph

In order to get a 7 or more for Writing Task 2 in the IELTS test, you need to use paragraphs correctly.

To do this, make sure you leave a full line after each paragraph.

DO THIS:

sample writeup with full line after each paragraph

This is the correct way to use paragraphs in English. Additionally, the examiner can clearly see when one paragraph ends and the next paragraph begins.

DON'T DO THIS:

bad writeup withiout spaces in each paragraph

In the example above, the student did not leave a complete line after each paragraph.

This is an incorrect way to use paragraphs in English. It also makes it much more difficult for the examiner to know when one paragraph ends and the next paragraph begins.

If you make this mistake, it could drastically lower your score for Coherence and Cohesion in Writing Task 2 of the IELTS test.
